Perhaps the nightmare of most garcons is having to deal with overly demanding and unreasonable customers.
There will always be people like this, even if the garcon were the nicest person in the world. A good garcon has to learn how to be extremely patient, very well poised, and how to control his facial expressions despite the fact that he is ready to explode in anger.
As you can see, being a garcon is not simply about doing menial chores but being good at handling all sorts of personalities as well.
